Leadership for a Global Future
The Leadership for a Global Future Programme is an opportunity not only to take part in the highest quality leadership development but to do so in an unfamiliar environment using real-life problems taken from the challenging world of international development and humanitarian aid. In today’s rapidly changing global marketplace, business leaders are under increasing pressure to think innovatively and strategically and to act responsibly amid the complexity of the international environment. This programme enables professionals to achieve a wider international perspective and develop their role as leaders in a climate of change.
The programme starts with a day in the London which is followed by a 7 day residential programme in the Gambia. This is a unique opportunity, not only to develop skills, experience and international perspective, but also to make a direct contribution to life-saving development projects in one of the poorest countries in the world.
Dates for the programme in 2010 are:
18-25 May + follow-up day June 2010
9-16 November + follow-up day December 2010
